ProtekG Static Voltage Stabilizers are IGBT based PWM type Buck-Boost Voltage Stabilizer which has tight regulation and fast correction speed which is impossible to obtain using other technology stabilizers like, Servo Voltage Stabilizer, SCR/Triac Stabilizer, Relay Type Stabilizer etc.

Our SMPS type Static Voltage Stabilizer for mains voltage (AC Input & AC Output), where PWM is made directly in AC to AC switching without any harmonic distortion.

In this technology there is no need to convert the AC input to DC and again convert it back to regulated AC output. This simplifies design and increases the efficiency & reliability.

The control section is based on dsPIC controller which ensures quick correction of output which is not possible in conventional relay type stabilizer or servo controlled stabilizers.​

Since the circuit is fully solid state (no mechanical or moving parts) there will not be any wear and tear like the brush tear in servo stabilizer or relay degrading in relay based stabilizer.

The system uses IGBTs as power switches, direct AC-AC converter circuit improves the overall system response and fast voltage correction. Also 12.8 KHz ePWM control operation using high end Piccolo F28069 control card to achieve correction time of 20 to 30 millisecond.

This is specially useful in places where we need very fast correction speed, constant output voltage, overload current limiting and short circuit protection, soft start, high voltage cut-off &
low voltage cut-off, automatic bypass, no wear and tear, long life and maintenance free which is impossible with other conventional relay type or servo control stabilizers

The Static Voltage Stabilizer is implemented on Piccolo F28069 DSP based board. This control board continuously senses input voltage, output voltage, load current and IGBT current with help of CTs and VTs. Based on these values Piccolo F28069 DSP control board will trigger IGBT Bridge to produce voltage at its output with help of PWM method of Static Voltage Regulator in Buck and Boost mode
